Nox Terror is a black metal band from Santiago, founded in 2021 by multi-instrumentalist Chaos. Since its formation, Chaos has fused horror elements with dark and atmospheric music, creating an intense and chilling experience. The band’s sound is heavily influenced by legendary black metal acts such as Mayhem, Darkthrone, Emperor, and Burzum. Following the release of their early material, Nox Terror has released two full-length albums, one EP, and several singles in both digital and physical formats. Among their most recognized works is Doppelganger, which has become an emblematic piece within the band’s discography. In 2022, in order to bring their dark rituals to the live stage, Morkets joined on drums, L on lead guitar, and 1338 on bass. The current lineup consists of Chaos on vocals and guitar, 1338 on lead guitar, Morkets on drums, and Ördög on bass. The band has performed at several iconic venues across Santiago and other cities in Chile, building a steadily growing fan base through their intense live performances and grim aesthetic. Nox Terror is currently preparing for the release of their third studio album, Covenant of the Lost Shadows, scheduled for release on May 28, 2026 through the Georgian label Satanath Records. The album promises to further expand the band’s dark and aggressive atmosphere, marking a new chapter in their evolution while paving the way for their first international tour during 2027.
